この場所について Queer History Boston
The History Project, now known as Queer History Boston, is an independent LGBTQ+ archive founded in 1980 by a volunteer collective to preserve the records of Boston's lesbian and gay movement. It is New England's largest queer archive, with manuscripts, photographs and runs of Boston-area queer periodicals.
The core collections include the papers of Gay Community News, the national gay weekly published from Boston from 1973 to 1999, and records of the Homophile Union of Boston and hundreds of individual activists. This is a research archive, not a walk-in museum: contact them through historyproject.org to arrange a visit or ask about exhibitions and events.
