Bar Argon

Bar Argon is a gay video bar and dance lounge at 4544 South Boulevard in Lower South End. It shares a building and owners with Sidelines, the gay sports bar next door. Screens run music videos, and the weekly calendar includes karaoke with DJ Windsor, RuPaul's Drag Race watch parties with drag on Fridays, line dancing, Latin nights and leather parties. On the second Friday of each month it hosts Sapphic Second Fridays, a women's night. Reel Out Charlotte held its 2026 opening screening here. Listings put it open Thursday to Saturday from 8pm to 2am and Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. Check barargon.com for the current week, because nights change.
