Melting Pot

We went this weekend and had a great experience. Great atmosphere, very calm and relaxing. Was not very busy so that was perfect. Food was good. Service was good. Will return.

Had a wonderful experience. Connor was an excellent waiter. He was patient, kind, and paid great attention to detail. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

I’ll start with the positives, the place is nice and the service was very good. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. But when I go out to a restaurant, I don’t go for the view and I don’t go to make friends, I go to eat something better than I can eat at home. The bill was nearly a $150 for two people (1 drink), I don’t know you, but I would expect a half decent meal for that price. Let’s start with the cheese fondue: tasteless, the cheeses they used … maybe Walmart cheap cheeses? It wasn’t as much greasy as it was tasteless… I could have been eating melted wax or something and it might have had more taste. The bread, yeah it was a cut up baguette, but again, a cheap heavy cold, dense baguette. You are serving fondue, your bread has to be fresh and crunchy; if you are going to serve cheap bread at least warm it up and toast it a bit in the oven before you serve it? The main course is just a hot pot…. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the Korean all you can eat bbq, it would be all you can eat and it would be tons more flavorful and cheaper… honestly why would you serve this? The broth was clearly a store bought box and not the good stuff but again it tasted so cheap. The meats were ok quality wise, small quantities, but with that broth, you really didn’t want to eat much anyway and the veggies were mehhh, nothing special. The chocolate fondue was just par with the rest, not high quality chocolate and a bit of fruit. I make my own fondue and while I won’t claim is fantastic (hard to get really good quality cheeses here) it’s leaps and bounds better than this place. Save your money, it is really bad.

Good portion sizes. The main course was average. The chocolate was great. You can only take home chocolate and not the cheese from appetizers.

Table for 2 in lovers lane. As always, food is spectacular, service is outstanding. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! Will be back again when I can.

We went to The Melting Pot to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary, and I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience! Reyes was absolutely phenomenal. We truly got the best of the best, and she made our night so special from start to finish. My husband coordinated with the restaurant ahead of time to have flowers waiting at our table, and the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. We even received a card from the staff, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch! Reyes took the time to walk us through the entire dining experience and explain each step of the process. When there was one pot we didn’t care for, she immediately said it was no problem and happily switched it out for us. She made sure we were comfortable, happy, and enjoying every moment. We truly felt spoiled by everyone there! It’s rare to find service that feels this genuine and personal. From the thoughtful anniversary surprises to the exceptional service, everything made our night feel special. Reyes is an absolute gem, and she deserves all the recognition for the care and attention she gives her guests. If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate an anniversary or any important occasion, I cannot recommend The Melting Pot enough!
