Papi's

Papi's is a Latin gay bar on Waugh Drive on the edge of Montrose, Houston's gay neighbourhood, in the space long occupied by Guava Lamp. The music leans Latin: reggaeton, cumbia and Spanish-language pop. Drag shows and go-go nights run across the week, and the crowd is largely Latino and gay. It is still relatively new, with only about a dozen Google reviews, so line-ups, cover charges and opening nights may change. Check the bar's social media before heading over.
