Barnaby's Cafe is a casual American restaurant at 604 Fairview Street in Montrose, Houston's gay neighbourhood. It serves large portions of burgers, salads, sandwiches and comfort food, and is busiest at weekend brunch. It is a gay-friendly mainstream restaurant, not a gay bar, but its location close to the Fairview and Pacific Street bars means plenty of the crowd is local and queer. Prices are moderate. Expect a wait at weekend brunch. It works well as a meal before a night out on Pacific Street, which is a few minutes' walk away.
