Marquesa Hotel

I’m obsessed with this hotel. First of all, the service was incredible the whole time. They offer cookies and refreshers all day long. It also smells clean and amazing from the moment you walk in. Location is great, easy access to everything. We got the junior suite, it had a living room and bedroom, and bathroom had a double vanity and a rain shower. Two pools, lots of shade and seating options. And best of all, was Cafe Marquesa. Best dinner and breakfast I’ve had in years. I will recommend it to everyone and hope I can come back soon! Shoutout to the staff: Dimitrius and Mark from the hotel and Danielle from the Cafe!

Staying at the Marquesa was a great experience! Keith and Jack at the front desk were awesome! Danielle at the diner was also awesome! They catered to our every need and couldn’t have been nicer! I would 100% stay here and recommend it to anyone that I know.😄

The hotel itself was very nice. Good outdoor pool/courtyard area. Rooms were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hannah was particularly great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice location, just off Duval. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here two nights this summer and it was a lovely experience. The Marquesa is a private oasis close to everything in Key West, but tucked away and well designed such that it feels worlds away from the chaos. Service was great; all facilities very clean and well maintained. Excellent restaurant on site.

Marquesa is an excellent choice for exploring old town Key West. It offers close proximity to all the things you want to do. The hotel is lovely and the staff is so attentive and kind! Our only issue was the TV that kept going out. It wasn’t a big deal, but we just wanted it on to fall asleep. Sounds like it’s a persistent problem. We would definitely stay there again!

Such a comfortable, quiet, civilized place. Close to everything, but far enough away from the noisy bars of Duval Street. Beautiful, comfortable accommodations. Multiple pools and plenty of places to lounge. Very friendly, helpful staff. Delicious, tempting breakfast offerings.

Costco find and it was perfect 👌. We will definitely stay here again next year!

We learned about this hotel through our credit card travel service. The location is excellent only a block from the main street. There is a grocery store about a block away and a CVS two blocks away. The hotel's restaurant is fabulous. We had three great breakfasts and a wonderful meal there. The service is phenomenal. Neesa (sp), our server, made us very much at home. I was not familiar with the hotel's configuration, and we ended up in a building with a traditional room with two TVs, a mini bar, and a nespresso coffee maker. The bathroom is small, but adequate. Three concerns about the room. one is that it faces Fleming Street, which is very noisy. There was really no good view. The Wi-Fi was very weak, and it was hard to get a reliable signal. The minor issue was that there were no cups or glasses in the bathrooms. We did not receive the two complementary cocktails we were supposed to, but the morning coffee was excellent, and the afternoon tea was very good. There are two pools. Next time, we will ask to be in the cabin type rooms instead. it was nice to be able to leave our car and walk everywhere. Gemma, the concierge was excellent.

This was our first trip to Key West, and we finally decided on the Marquesa Hotel. Even though the reviews were glowing, we were pleasantly surprised when we were shown to our room. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the large shower had great water pressure. The hotel is a block from Duval Street (the main street in old Key West) and fairly centrally located. The first night, we ate the Marquesa Cafe and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered that night was amazing, as was the service. We would definitely stay here again!
