Southernmost Beach Resort

We stayed Oct 18 - Oct 22. Dewey house. Room was very nice and added breakfast was great. Three pools to choose from but get there early chairs go quick. Only negative thing beach area water was dirty, not like advertisement shows. We laid by the beach, chairs and umbrellas were provided but never went in the water. The beach attendant said it was a seaweed problem can't get rid of. Other than that very nice place.

The price of the room ended up being way more than what was listed online. So many hidden fees and way overpriced for what you get. Rooms themselves were nice and good location but just know you will end up paying more than the listing price in hundreds worth of hidden fees.

Stayed for 4 nights 10/10/26 to 10/14/26. Will never stay here again. The reasons why are long. The ocean front room we booked looked nothing like what is on the website. We were put in the Sunset building with a nice ocean view of our front door and two tiny windows. Seriously, this room should not be booked at the same price level as the other buildings ocean fronts. Looking back, there are many poor reviews based on this. Wish I had seen them previous. If booking an ocean front room, make sure to ask for anything but the Sunset building. The Sunset building room we received had a broken AC, broken phone, and broken ceiling fan. The hotel manager tried arguing with us that the AC was not broken but was caught lying because the maintenance man they sent to our room had already told us it needed to be replaced the following day. She says "Well I don't know why he is telling customers that". We were going to let it slide until the fan started to rattle and swing over the bed like it was going to fall down. I took a video of it and showed the hotel manager. She finally had to admit we needed another room. Because we needed to now change rooms and there were no comparable ocean front rooms available they needed to put us in their offsite bed and breakfast on Duval St. We had to pack all of our stuff, put it on a golf cart, and check into a room which was the size of a closet with a queen bed. Then, had to do all of that over again the next afternoon. P.S. at 11AM, a cleaning staff person came to the door because obviously no one told her the situation, and instead of knocking on the door she kneels down and starts peering through the door curtain. Creepy Because of this whole fiasco the manager agreed to "Comp" our first night, take off the $65 resort fee for the week and Comp breakfast for our stay. The first day of breakfast we couldn't even use because we weren't on site. And, because we got moved to an offsite crap room worth $150 a night room, not the $600 a night room we reserved, we felt like they should have done more. But, at this point we just decided to suck it up as neither of us wanted to move hotels again. Oh, she did give us a few drink tickets but they were only good for one of the pool bars and were well drinks only. Kind of just goes to show the kind of hotel this is. Lastly, just a note, like many have said, do not book here if you like to lounge on the beach. This isn't really the resorts fault, but the washup on the beach smells awful and is continuous all day/year. Honestly the resort should really just close up the beach and create something different with the space. The only benefit of this hotel is location. It is severely run down and priced as a high end resort (look at the rates during high season...if I had paid $1500/night for the room we got I would have went wild, no matter how much money I have), but it is more like being on a Carnival Cruise Line. Pools are cramped and are impossible to get a chair unless you are there by 9AM. Love Keywest, but this resort stinks...literally.

Stayed 3x now, great guest experience. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nice and comfortable. The beds and linens are very comfortable as are the pillows. I am always on edge if I will get good pillows in hotels as they dictate how I will sleep....these are great!
