The Deliciouser: Modern Spice Shop & Restaurant

Great place. I must try

Awesome food and service, unique flavors and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The Deliciouser was a surprisingly inviting restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere and eclectic menu. The service was outstanding from hostess to wait staff. For starters, the non-alcoholic drink menu was greatly appreciated in “sober October.” A few non-alcoholic wine options were surprisingly tasteful — literally: 1) Serena Mode 0.0 Sauvignon Blanc ‘24 Central Valley, CL (Green Apple, Peach - Herbaceous); and, 2) Oddbird Sparkling Blanc de Blancs, FR (Green Apple, Lemon Peel, Honey — Dry). My food was delectably delicious!!! Here’s what I ate—and I consumed all of it—every morsel it was that good: Appetizer: Signature Mignonette Oysters: Champagne Vinegar, Herb Oil, Lake Superior Gold Caviar ($4.5 / $50 Dozen) Entree: Pan-Seared Halibut: Night Market Carrot Purée, Pea Shoots, Pickled Celery and Kimchi Consommé. I skipped the dessert though the offerings looked divine (dessert menu attached as a photo), but did enjoy the coffee! My wife and daughter absolutely raved about their dinners — Grilled Petite Lettuces — Happy Camper Oyster Vinaigrette, Citrus, Olive Oil Breadcrumbs topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano Night Market Thai Beef Salad — American Wagyu Bavette Steak, Coconut, Peanuts, Chrysanthemum Greens, Fish Sauce Vinaigrette. Finally, I can’t wait to come back because as you can see my family killed the Pistachio Cake (Lemon-Pistachio Relish, Labneh, Za'atar)!

Lovely restaurant near downtown madison, wi. Deep expertise in herbs and highly derivative dishes with tons of innovation.

Always great here. I love this place.

Fantastic!

I had the 5 spice sichuan noodles. It was very intense, which I assumed at the time was on purpose. The sensation was like eating an entire can of altoids. My wife couldn't take more than a few bites. I ate about half and can still feel the affect on parts of my tongue, days later. Don't eat here. Edit: the restaurant has responded calling it the Hot and Numbing dish. That is not how it was advertised to me.
