MJs Tavern
Visitors frequently praise MJ's Tavern for its friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, and good, affordable food, with many highlighting specific dishes like the meatloaf. However, some reviewers have expressed concern about the clientele, with one describing it as a place for "Gay bears and leather lovers to go and pick up each other," while others, including a straight couple, found the food and service fantastic regardless of the bar's perceived identity. There are also occasional complaints about slow service, with one visitor leaving after a forty-minute wait for a burger.

Awesome place!! All are welcome!
My partner and I decided to take the girls out for some lunch and drinks and they had an amazing time and met so many good people! The food was really good and our server was very attentive and helpful.
I ordered a door dash order from this place. I called and inquired about the meat loaf dinner coming with mashed potatoes. I was informed it did come with mashed potatoes. So. I ordered. There are no mashed potatoes included. My meat loaf was also burnt. Not only is it burnt, but it’s salty as well. The Mac and cheeses is also horrible. It was spicy, I didn’t order spicy Mac and cheese. As a first time customer this is my last time. I’m really disappointed.
