Fork

We chose Fork for our anniversary dinner and, while there were some highlights, overall the experience fell short of what we expected, particularly for a dinner that was over $300 for two people. We started with a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, which my husband enjoyed, though a cherry would have been a nice addition. The oysters were very good, especially the mignonette, which we both loved. For our second course, we shared the trottole with lamb merguez ragu, mint and pecorino. It was a smaller portion, but very flavorful, and the pasta was perfectly tender. This was one of the highlights of the meal. For his entrée, my husband ordered the pork chop. It was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and a generous portion. Unfortunately, my entrée was a very different experience. I ordered the seared NJ scallops. They were beautifully presented, but they tasted off, almost fishy. I ended up sending them back and ordered the Green Circle half chicken instead. The chicken was fine, but nothing about the dish really stood out. Service was another disappointment. It took quite a while for our server to initially greet us and offer drinks, and we waited again before our order was taken. Our server was pleasant, but the service wasn’t as attentive as we expected from a restaurant at this price point. There were certainly things we enjoyed, particularly the oysters, pasta, and pork chop. But when dinner for two is over $300, I think it’s reasonable to expect the entire experience to feel special, especially for an anniversary dinner. Ours simply didn’t. We really wanted to love Fork, but unfortunately we left disappointed and likely wouldn’t return.

Really nice place inside and the decoration was really good We went there for the burger in the internet they said it was good unfortunately it wasn’t in the menu. And the rest of the food was mediocre for the price. Everything was fine but nothing was exceptional and for that price I think it is too expensive. Nice place if you have tried a lot of places in Philly and don’t know where to go now. But I don’t think we will be back for the second time.

Visited today for lunch. Oh my gosh this place is #1 on my list of places of Must Visit! The handcrafted Soda's are perfect! Pomegranate Ginger was Bomb! 😆 The burger was the best burger I have had in a long time! Server was the sweetest and the atmosphere elegant. I can not wait to go back!

Absolutely loved this place. Incredible atmosphere, phenomenal food, and such warm, knowledgeable service. The pasta was honestly 10/10 — I rarely get genuinely blown away by pasta, but this one was unforgettable. The cocktails were incredible, and the wine selection was fantastic. One of those meals you keep thinking about afterward. Can’t wait to come back.
