For two guests rooms are very tight in bathroom and vanity area A good location and value for the money during peak season

Great! Would definitely stay again! Clean, friendly staff, free breakfast and daytime shuttle to and from the (close by) boardwalk. Super close to Rehoboth Avenue’s shops and restaurants. Great value for the location. Lovely balcony with lake view. Free parking spot too!

$389 per night! We walked in and waited at an empty front desk, 2.5 minutes later we were finally greeted by Kathy maybe (Cathy) with “what do yall need?” No hello, or how are you? She maintained a terrible attitude. Answered the phone while checking us in, and making us wait. Proceeded to tell same customer that they could bring her and alcohol beverage and as long as it’s in a “coca cola” cup that no one would know . Basically humiliated my friend in the lobby for being shirtless in the lobby asking for towels that should’ve already been provided. Being a beach area hotel we thought this was okay. If it’s a policy it is not posted anywhere visible. Looked at me stupid when I asked if there was a parking lot and responding with “we have many” as if I should know after I drove around back to a very confusing and mislabeled area and all I got was “by the blue dumpster” Told us our room was ready but we’re just waiting on towels. This was 6:15pm check in starts at 4pm. We still had to come back down and ask for them Not a single member of staff was friendly, or could even say hi. The elevator is so slow almost nobody would use it. And when we would it was always and awkward encounter with the staff. Get to the room. To find bathroom door lock is Broken. Shower nob was flipped all the way around and broken so only cold water would come out. Leftover bathroom products from someone before us. Beds were all springs and no comfort. Zero overhead lighting only dim lamps. no turnover service “unless requested” which is just laziness imo, but from that staff I didn’t expect very much after the first night. Pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. So we walked in and immediately left. Oh and a lovely hvac vent above my bed that was spewing soot all over the ceilings above where I slept. I’ll be posting this review until it reaches someone in the company who cares, but again. After that experience, not very hopeful .

The Breakers has a great location, especially being so close to the beach. Kathi at the front desk was also wonderful—very friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to! That said, I think the breakfast could use some upgrades, especially considering the price of the rooms. Also, very small TV in the room and the room was a bit dirty upon our arrival. Our checkout experience was also disappointing. The front desk staff (other than Kathi) were in the back office talking and laughing, and when we called out to them, they appeared to ignore us rather than come assist us. Overall, the location and Kathi were definite highlights, but there are a few areas where the hotel could improve.

Going here I didn’t have the highest expectations because I saw some negative reviews but they were from years ago. I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by my experience staying at the Breakers Inn & Suites. I normally stay at the Atlantis however I needed someone where to stay with my dog, my parents and fiancé. We picked this place that wasn’t insanely overpriced and had a short walking distance to the beach, Main Street and boardwalk. We were in room 113, a first floor room specifically for people who have dogs. The room smelled so clean and lemony fresh and looked to be in well, maybe even new condition. The shower was wonderful and the bathroom area is very clean and modernized! Probably my favorite part of the room! The beds were comfortable and standard for a double bed room. The balcony was so peaceful and also very clean. We like to sit out there just to hang out. There floors are non carpeted so if you foggy has an accident it’s easy clean up. As for the maid service, if you’re staying in a dog friendly room you don’t automatically get serviced. You have to request it if you want it each day because your dog cannot be in the room while they clean (makes sense). The maids that work for this hotel are fast and are the kindest people! Please tip them if you receive their service, they work really hard and are attentive! Every day that they cleaned our room it was like as if it was like our first day there! Clean and smelling fresh! Overall I would stay here even if I didn’t have a dog. Really love the breakfast area and food they offered. Great experience and we will be returning in the future for now on! *check out my attached photos*

Kathi is absolutely the best! Last night our reservation at a different hotel fell through, she was able to accommodate us within 15 minutes. Our room was clean with nice amenities.

My family’s stay at the Breakers Hotel & Suites in July 2026 was almost perfect. We have a dog and this hotel accepts dogs during the peak vacation season while others only during the off season. The hotel, our room, cleaning staff, amenities, shuttle service to the beach, and hotel location were all great. If I had to point to one area of improvement it would be some of the front desk staff. We did not experience a warm welcoming feeling with the few interactions we had during our stay. All in all, I would still stay at the Breakers again.

Had a medical emergency and needed to leave asap. A person I stayed with was airlifted to Christiana by helicopter. They still wouldn’t refund the room. The manager couldn’t have cared less. The room was subpar as well. You can definitely find better.

The hotel room smelled, and I had to keep the door open Breakfast starts at eight instead of normal 7 AM There is no gym in this facility There is a pool on the fourth floor, but it was extremely hot and suffocating there Saw some small ants crawling in the bathroom and on the wall

Stayed here a few years back and it was way better for the cost. No longer offers hot breakfast, truthfully with the limited offerings it shouldn't even be advertised as breakfast. Rooms were on the surface clean, but after dropping something on the floor and looking under the couch it's a different story. Positive is, it's close to the beach and offers quick access to the Rehoboth experience. However, we'll try a different place rather than be repeating this one again. Way expensive for what it is.
