Virginia Pride

Virginia Pride organizes VA PrideFest, the largest LGBTQ+ Pride event in central Virginia, held in Richmond each year, usually in September. It operates under Diversity Richmond, the city's LGBTQ+ community organization, and also runs smaller events and visibility work through the year. It is an organization, not a venue you can drop into. Festival dates, location and lineup change from year to year, so check diversityrichmond.org/virginia-pride before planning a trip. Diversity Richmond's community centre on Sherwood Avenue is the place to go for in-person information.
