It's a neighborhood dive rather than a dance club: drinks, a jukebox-and-chat atmosphere, and a regular local crowd, with visitors mixed in. It makes an easy stop on a Hillcrest bar crawl, since University Avenue and the other Fifth Avenue bars are a few minutes' walk away. Discovered this jewel about seven years ago and just re-discovered it. I'm always glad we stop in for a drink no matter where we're going. Don't know who does the hiring for this place but the staff (ALL) are awesome. Good job instilling a friendly and uplifting energy to all people - no matter where you come from. Last time I was there we drank a bit too much which made for a hilarious end of the night. Thank goodness for the breathalyzer in the glove compartment - everyone should carry one.
