Le Cuistot Traditionnel

This was my first dinner in Morocco. You can enjoy delicious food and a friendly owner. The couscous and tagine were fantastic. The mint tea was also delicious.

Incredible place and cuisine to discover; don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with the chef.

Came here solo looking for actual Moroccan home cooking, and left full and happy, with a few amazing stories from Chef Aziz thrown in. I'm part Moroccan, so I'm picky about this stuff. The harira was the real thing. The chicken pastilla was crisp, sweet and savory all at once, and honestly would bring me back on its own. But the lamb shoulder is the one I'm still thinking about. It fell right off the bone and stayed succulent the whole way through. Then there's the space itself. Aziz was King Hassan II's photographer, and the walls are covered with his incredible work. He told me about his time working for the King and lit up talking about the food and the history behind it. Real deal Maghrebi food and culture. Don't miss it. I'll be back.

One word. GO!! This place was truly fantastic for the traditional Moroccan food, decor, ambiance and hospitality . I know that’s a few more words but hey, this place deserves it

Food was service were both terrible. It was a scam. The worst experience I had. Stayed the city for two days and the restaurant was the first place I had food. Price was way higher than other places. The shrimp smelled bad and tasted awful. Tanjie was not good either. Asked for water and they brought one bottle, charged 44MAD. Not pleasant experience. Not recommended either.

The food is very delicious and the place is very clean and nice.

We were disappointed… we were looking forward to tasting what was supposedly the best rfissa, but what a letdown! We looked for the lentils, but instead there were far too many msemens and very little sauce. The chicken was very good. The service was mediocre, with the cook (owner) constantly in the dining room boasting about his supposedly best cuisine in Casablanca! However, the prices are exorbitant for what you get.

The food was authentic and taste homemade and natural but it was overpriced

Chef Abdelaziz is more than wonderful, and the restaurant is fantastic. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Casablanca for Moroccan cuisine, with exceptionally high-quality meat. All my appreciation and respect, and I recommend everyone visit the restaurant and try all the available dishes.
