LGBTI Sey

LGBTI Sey is the only LGBTQ+ organisation in the Seychelles. Activists started it in 2015, and it was registered in June 2016, the month the Penal Code ban on sex between men was repealed. It has about 200 members. It campaigned for the September 2024 hate-crime amendment, which covers sexual orientation and gender identity, and in July 2022 its leaders met President Ramkalawan at State House. That year it also ran the "Viv, Lanmour, Respe" IDAHOBIT campaign and the country's first LGBTI film festival. There's no public office. The postal address is P.O.
