The 2026 edition, its 27th, runs for five weeks from 23 October to 1 December, according to springout.com.au and Region. It opens with the unveiling of a Courtney Act portrait at the National Portrait Gallery.

The rest of the programme includes a comedy gala, Spring Fever retro disco, One Night In Heaven, A Drag is Born, Loud & Proud (all-ages trans and non-binary live music) and Pride sports at Lyneham.
The 2025 festival ran from 1 November to 5 December, with Fair Day on 1 November. There's no Mardi Gras-style parade. Dates for 2027 had not been announced at the time of writing.
