Club R is an adults-only (18+) gay men's cruise venue tucked into a basement space in central Surfers Paradise, combining an adult shop with a dedicated cruising lounge. Inside there are private cubicles, theme and group rooms, and communal cruising areas catering to gay and bisexual men. It is one of the very few dedicated LGBTQ+ spaces operating on the Gold Coast, and it is listed across gay travel guides including Travel Gay and misterb&b. Opening hours are generally Monday to Wednesday from mid-afternoon into the evening and Thursday to Sunday from late morning until late, though visitors should confirm current hours before travelling.
