Rooms ust average & not our thing. Bed was comphy & food very nice. The man in next room snored very loudly. If you at the pub & need a bed then for you. Pictures similar to others posted here.

$21 for a cheese platter that had a single piece of cheese. Complete rip off.

Went there for lunch recently and the service was terrible. Booked a table in advance but it was not reserved when we arrived, staff are rude and actively avoid serving you. Food was okay but steak sandwich was served icy cold and when asked to fix the order, we were met with great reluctance and when it was brought back out, was just as cold. Not worth your time or money!!!

celebrated my Australian citizenship at Hotel Palisade yesterday, and it was honestly a 5-star experience from start to finish. A special thank you to Grace—she was amazing. She looked after our group so well, brought such a fun and warm energy, and had a great sense of humour. She even took photos for us, and they turned out so good—something we really appreciated. The atmosphere, service, and overall vibe of the venue were perfect for such a special occasion. Everything felt elevated but still relaxed, exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend for celebrations—will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful historical pub, but more than once over years I have been there and the staff are so incredibly rude and dismissive. I was standing at the bar yesterday behind another couple and the young male at the bar was serving them. His female colleague came up behind him and instead of serving me, lent on the bar and ignored me. It was the weirdest behaviour, the bar was half empty. This could be part of the reason. What a shame.

Guinness was amazing

Bi lei. Buyaolai We wait for 10 minutes for Happy Hour but no one comes to order but chat with other customers. We tell a staff the happy hour is almost over could you please help us to order? He just shakes his head and keep talking to other customer. We're transparent.
