Kolkata Rainbow Pride Festival

The Kolkata Rainbow Pride Festival (KRPF) is the open collective, formed in 2011, that organises the Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk each December — the direct descendant of the 1999 Friendship Walk, India's and South Asia's first Pride march. The festival runs as a series of walks, talks, film screenings and cultural events. It has no fixed public office and operates through volunteers and partner organisations.
