Had an absolutely amazing time at Banana Bar last night, truly one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Japan! K and Jenny are so kind, welcoming, and sweet! If you’re an LGBT visitor (especially trans) or love karaoke or just love having a good time this is the place to go!
I stumbled upon this interesting place in Susukino, and it was a real find! All-you-can-drink for a great price. The owner, staff, and regulars were all so fun, I had an amazing time. Thanks to everyone I met there. I'll definitely be back.
An absolute gem in Sapporo! The two lovely ladies running the bar speak fluent English and Japanese. I had my first karaoke here and even witnessed someone coming out of the closet. There are LGBT bars in Japan, but this one is very special. ❤️ Life happens here
It’s not often that I visit a bar twice (especially on vacation), but this was one of those times! Kei and Jenny’s warmth, personality, and service were impeccable in a way that made me and my partner feel at home. We had many great laughs and made friends (both straight and gay) from different countries as well! 10/10 definitely recommend!!
Had a truly wonderful time! Ms. K and Ms. Jenny were so friendly and welcoming, and provided excellent service!
This bar is fabulous, especially if you’re an out of towner looking for a warm, welcoming place to hang out. K and Jenny are so friendly, and they speak many different languages fluently (I heard at least 3 while I was there). They kept my drink full, and it was nice to meet and sing karaoke with them. If I’m ever in Sapporo again, we’ll be stopping by!
Unlimited two hours for 4,000 yen! I went alone, but I didn't feel lonely. The owner was really kind, and it was a great memory. Stay healthy and stay healthy!
