Inn The Omotesando

First of all, this building is old, and sounds from above and the neighboring rooms can be heard directly. It has been renovated and turned into a private lodging, but... On the day we stayed, there was a lot of commotion from the 8th floor above, starting in the evening. At first, we thought it was probably an office, and that it would quiet down by 7pm, but it was still 11pm. In fact, we could clearly hear the sound of an electric drill, and it was escalating. The sound of several people walking around in slippers was also quite loud. As a result, my kids couldn't sleep at all, and I was angry at the growing noise, so I went up to the 8th floor. When we got off the elevator, the hall was filled with piles of materials, cardboard boxes of unassembled furniture, and several men... We told them we were staying below and that it had been very noisy and we asked them to keep it quiet. The next morning, when I looked in the mailbox on the first floor, I learned that the 8th floor was occupied by the company that operates the private lodging. We discovered that the 8th floor was run by a completely inconsiderate company that was aware of the fact that there was parking space directly below their office, yet was still carrying out this work at night. The private lodging itself is located at the intersection of Omotesando, and room 701 has a Francfranc theme, which my kids were initially excited about, saying how stylish it was. However, the floors and walls are thin, so you can definitely hear footsteps from the next room or in the hallway. I don't think the management company knows this because they've probably never stayed there before... I would recommend this to people who like to look good and are good with digital technology, such as registering photos of guests in advance. I wouldn't recommend this to people who want to stay quietly or who value their privacy. I also had to tell my family that they had to walk quietly around the room, which was also stressful. The location is simply amazing, in a prime location. Good points: Location, free washing machine and dryer with microwave, mini kitchen (although we didn't use it), it looks great when you enter the room. Bad points: Thin walls and floors, echoing noise

On the plus side, the room had a cute atmosphere and I felt it was an Instagram-worthy hotel! The amenities were also good, with the hair dryer and mirror working perfectly and the shampoo was great! However, because the hotel was unmanned, check-in and check-out were difficult (especially check-out, as searching for the name didn't bring up anything), we couldn't leave our luggage before 3:00 PM, and the sheets were worn out, so there were still lint and hair left on them. And worst of all, when I returned to my room in the cold, the air conditioner was broken and wouldn't turn on. Since it was unmanned, I couldn't ask the front desk for help, there was no phone number listed, and it was late at night so I didn't get a reply when I emailed them, which was very frustrating. I spent about an hour debating whether I should go and ask my friend and neighbors if it was just my room that had no air conditioner, and I searched Chiebukuro for how to fix it. So, here are the methods we tried, just in case! [Go out into the hallway and you'll find the circuit breaker somewhere in the middle. I turned off the part of the breaker that said "air conditioner," waited 3 seconds, and then turned it back on. And then the air conditioner came back on! The heating came on and I didn't have to go through that hellish experience. If you ever have a similar experience, please try this! It's a special trip, so I hope you have a wonderful stay!

Ah~~~ the location is great! It's good, but ah~~~~ the bedding ah~~~ is just so bad ㅠㅠ The heater was directed right at my head, so it was really miserable. I ended up sleeping on my back. Aside from that, everything was great!!!!

The room was dirty and the front desk was unmanned so I checked out immediately.
