I/O Taipei

It's not a sauna in the Western sense; it's a cruising area, not very clean but with lots of people. At least the price for tourists is back to 300!

A fun place to visit, I strongly recommended if you come to Taipei, this place is a "must visit" spot for some bear fun!

I haven't been there for two months and the hygiene has gotten worse... Our trip is coming up soon, and we'll be seeing tourists from out of town. At least the urinals should be cleaned! Anyone with a basic sense of hygiene will find this unacceptable. (If there's any improvement, I'll change it to 5 stars.)

On holidays, I have to be mindful of the staff at the counter, and I'm often late. The opening hours aren't fixed, and it's mostly regular customers, which gets boring. Last year, there were no new customers on the day of the Pride Parade, and I think it will be the same this year.

The good thing is just the kind and helpfull reception service but the building need a lot of improvement better not to tell why. And place a bit far from station and hidden

300 NTD entry fee, there's no hot pool, no gym, and steam room is broken too, not much crowd on Tue evening 8pm

I went for the first time last weekend. The counter had a Japanese-style development area feel. I bought tickets from a machine (no time-limited discounts, only member discounts) — took a plastic bag to put my shoes — put my luggage in a locker — went down to the basement to shower. I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence, but the basement steam room wasn't open that day, and I felt the shower area was a bit small and cramped. Besides the showers, the basement also had a karaoke room and two large rooms. There was also a lounge at the back of the first floor where you could watch TV and charge your phone. Upon going up the second floor, there were several darkrooms directly in front. Turning back into the room, there was another darkroom entrance on the right, which is easy to miss for first-timers. Overall, it's a fairly established environment, but considering the price, there's not much to complain about. The animals inside were mainly bears and meat-type animals, with a few muscular, lean, or skinny monkeys occasionally. The people inside seemed quite friendly. I arrived at 2 PM, and by about 5 PM, most of the people had left. This is just for your reference.

It seems to have changed hands again. The cleanliness of the venue has improved a lot compared to before. Since I went in autumn and winter, it wasn't as stuffy. The customer base is still on the heavier side. I hope they can maintain the current standard and continue operating.
