Absolutely unacceptable experience. My fiancée went there as part of her bachelorette party, wearing a simple "Bride" sash like thousands of brides do. Instead of being welcomed, she was stopped at the entrance, questioned extensively, and told that wearing the sash could be "offensive." The irony is that the way she and her friends were treated was far more offensive than anything they were wearing. As an LGBTQ+ venue, we expected an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Instead, they felt judged, singled out, and made to justify why they were celebrating. A place that promotes acceptance should not make respectful guests feel uncomfortable or discriminated against. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of who they are or what they're celebrating. Sadly, that was not the experience here. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place.

some workers were rude, some were very nice. I have mixed feelings about this place; on the one hand it's supposed to be a safe space for queer people, which it was, on the other hand it still somehow felt a bit cold and unwelcoming? the cocktails are decent, some things are a bit overpriced imo. I think it's a bit unfair to judge this place from a single visit so I will visit again to give a proper assessment!

I came to support an acquaintance at a party where she was performing, only to be kicked out "because we were bothering someone," without any explanation or justification of who or anything. If it weren't for a vape incident, you really need to rethink your concept of open-mindedness. Throwing out people who paid €20 for entry just because of someone you know and whom you grant every right to is pathetic. Very disappointed, I will never set foot in your establishment again and I will never again praise your bar. Learn to understand your own concepts; it's becoming ridiculous. Pseudo-open, but by acting like this, you'll just end up being a bunch of your own. Open a private club if that's how you're going to behave. Ciao

Hello, I came to the bar with my friend. He wanted to participate in the entertainment that was happening the evening we went. He filled out the short form and was selected. However, when he said he didn't want to be filmed, the person hosting the show responded curtly, saying he wasn't being asked to get completely naked, as if he were asking for something unreasonable. Then, this same person replied, "Too bad, there will be other candidates who want to participate." He felt truly rejected and humiliated. We all have different stories, and he had personal reasons for not wanting to be filmed. Instead of a respectful response, like asking the audience not to film him and simply asking them to leave him out of the frame, he felt excluded, even though it was supposed to be a safe space, something the host kept repeating throughout the evening… We will never set foot in this bar again; it is anything but a safe space.

Just steps from Brussels' Grand Place, teeming with thousands of tourists (LGBTQUIA+ or not), you enter a bar that looks inviting, but even a simple, professional greeting is nowhere to be seen. Nothing indicates that this "friendly" waiter won't be leaving the bar and that you'll have to go there yourself (it's a weekday with 3 tables for 5 people). When you realize that it's the customer who has to come and pay €5 for a tea, with no service, no smile, and no courtesy whatsoever, they present you with a payment terminal as pleasantly as receiving your annual tax bill! Don't expect a "please" or a "thank you," as these items either had to be ordered and paid for in advance or were simply out of stock. The funniest part (or not), you ask for the Wi-Fi code and the response is as cold as the outside temperature today: "No Wi-Fi for customers." Having traveled to so many countries and cities, I must admit I'm embarrassed by the service this type of bar offers in my own country. They don't ask for open-mindedness, they demand it, and in return, they can't even provide the bare minimum of service. Friendliness, friendliness, and service are the foundation of any hospitality establishment. You are in the capital of Belgium, of Europe!!!
