Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre

The hotel is perfect. Well-maintained, clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The bathroom is also fine, although the bathtub is a bit dangerous and you risk slipping. Be careful with that. Breakfast is very good and has the basics (eggs, cold cuts, ham, cheese, a variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, and very good espresso). There's a bar on the 8th floor, which we went to, but we couldn't eat anything because the kitchen closed at 10 pm, which was a shame. The decor is a bit dated and could use updating, but it's acceptable for now. The location is a highlight; you're only a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Brussels.

Great location. The service from all the hotel staff was excellent (reception, restaurant, and cleaning staff). We booked a stay with breakfast included, which was quite comprehensive (juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, sweet and savory items), although it was always the same (if I had to mention something less positive)... They changed the towels every day (a detail not all hotels offer). In short, if we returned to Brussels, we would definitely stay at this hotel again and would certainly recommend it; otherwise, I wouldn't even bother writing this review. Decent hotel, large rooms, everything was fine. Breakfast was mediocre; at 7:00 a.m., 50 people rushed in, creating a long queue for the coffee machines and a lot of crowding. Not pleasant.

Very friendly staff and a perfect location for visiting Brussels

We didn’t expect much from this hotel when we booked it, as it was mainly a budget option for us, but we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the reception area had an amazing vibe with the preserved history and character of the building. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned, but that actually made the whole experience even more charming and unique. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop bar and restaurant, which offers amazing views of the city, and the prices were very reasonable as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

A hotel.of 2 parts. The location was good, the staff were lovely, the main building and public areas were great and the breakfast was really good. It was like a higher quality hotel. The bedrooms were like a budget hotel. They were clean and the beds were very comfortable, but they were dated and the walls and window were very thin. Though if you take your earplugs you'll be fine 🙂
