We booked a night at Hotel South for our flight from Charleroi Airport. Communication with the accommodation went very smoothly, we received a friendly welcome, and the shuttle also ran very smoothly. Definitely recommended!

Basic hotel close to the airport. Cheap parking and free airport shuttle, which works great. Don't expect any luxury, but everything is basic and clean. No food, but chip shops in the village.

My stay at Hotel South was surprisingly pleasant, especially considering it is a 2-star hotel. The rooms are simple but neat and clean, exactly what you need for a short stay or a stopover. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring you feel welcome from the moment you enter. The location is ideal for those wishing to reach the city or Charleroi Airport, with good public transport connections and convenient parking options nearby. The breakfast is simple but well-presented, providing a good start to the day. What sets this hotel apart is the combination of affordability and a pleasant atmosphere. It is clear that the hotel pays attention to comfort and service, despite the limited star rating. For travelers seeking a practical, friendly, and affordable overnight stay, Hotel South is an excellent choice.

We had an unpleasant experience. The first room was dirty, with nail clippings on the floor, hair, and a toilet bowl stained with *****... The host very politely and quickly moved us to another room, but it must be said that hygiene was once again lacking. The bedside tables weren't even cleaned... We found a tube of homeopathic remedies on one of them... Quite visible, actually. The location is a strong point, unfortunately the only one I can find so far.
