The Crazy Circle

It’s a great place to have fun and karaoke night is a really good time but the bartender repeatedly mixed or watered down the drinks that we bought. I ordered a plain tequila shot and it was shaken with something I didn’t order, appeared cloudy and was likely mixed with lemon and water which again is not what I ordered and is obviously done to save the bar money by scamming the clients. I’m not sure if this happens regularly or maybe just to the new clients to the bar and not the usual customers. I would trust this place when ordering beers that you see opened in front of you and that cannot be watered down or altered but otherwise it isn’t a good idea to order shots here and certainly not cocktails from this bar, you definitely will not receive what you pay for. I asked the bartender to pour the tequila again as normally it shouldn’t be cloudy or taste so much like lemon water and she got quite defensive and said she only shook it with ice, however that was not the case and she was clearly lying about this as a shot of tequila doesn’t need to be shaken with ice or anything else, especially since the bar was really very busy so to waste time with something so unnecessary and time consuming also makes absolutely no sense. She did give me a new shot when I asked for it but was a bit rude about it. I still tipped her and really hope that this isn’t the kind of service I should expect next time I come.

Still as cool as ever

Didn’t feel welcoming to LGBTQ+ people and allies who were not part of a lesbian-only group. Groups that included men appeared to be treated differently, and we were repeatedly skipped over at the bar and unable to order drinks. I understand and respect the importance of women-centered queer spaces, but it was disappointing to experience exclusion within an LGBTQ venue in a way that felt dismissive of bisexual identities and mixed-gender dynamics.

Passing through Brussels for a romantic weekend, we couldn't miss this place! It was a fantastic evening!! Thank you 🪻
