Citadelpark

Citadelpark is the big park next to the MSK and S.M.A.K. museums and the ICC in southern Ghent. It is the city's best-known outdoor gay cruising area and has been listed in cruising guides for years. Activity centres on the wooded upper sections and paths, mostly in the evening and after dark, and it is busiest in warmer months. It is a public park, not a venue, and it is policed like any other. Stay near paths you can leave easily, keep valuables out of sight and respect other park users. Belgium has strong LGBTQ+ legal protections, but public-indecency rules still apply.
