Verkeerd Geparkeerd

Verkeerd Geparkeerd (often shortened to VG) is Ghent's LGBTQ+ youth association and, founded in 1987, the oldest queer youth organisation in Flanders. It runs regular cafe evenings, parties and activities aimed at young LGBTQ+ people roughly aged 18 to 30, creating a friendly entry point into the community for students and newcomers. The group is volunteer-run and closely tied to Ghent's wider queer network, including Casa Rosa and the university's diversity structures. For young visitors or those studying in the city, VG's events are among the easiest ways to meet people beyond the bar scene.
