Very small room
The rooms look like they haven't been renovated in 10 years. There's no air conditioning, no toothbrushes, no slippers, the TV doesn't work, the Wi-Fi is slow, and there's no refrigerator, minibar, electric kettle, or glasses. The room is 4 by 2 meters (approximately). The room is dirty, the walls have black stains, the curtains are dirty, and there’s someone’s hair on the bed. There are no grocery stores nearby
I do not give low ratings easily! Behind any place there is a business trying to make ends meet. However: This hotel is a lifeless, loveless place. My colleague and I hated staying there! We stayed during a heatwave, so the lack of airconditioning didn‘t help. The door frame of my bathroom was disintegrating for lack of ventilation. The bed felt like it was 30 years old. I have stayed many times in other hotels in Brussels and have always found positives: good food in surprising locations, the edgyness of many parts of Brussels. None of this applies here! Sad!
The room did not meet expectations. The sanitary conditions left much to be desired, and the atmosphere in the room was extremely unpleasant. I was shocked to notice cockroaches.
Without a doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Refused entry after providing my booking details after coming home one evening. Receptionist (Raphael) was aggressive and obscene without any provocation and removed me from the premises( I was not allowed return for the remainder of my booking). The following night, my friend was asleep in the hotel room and the same receptionist unlocked her door at 3AM and began packing her things in a plastic bag saying she had 5 minutes to vacate the premises before he called the police as she was “disrespectful” towards him. When we tried to express our dissatisfaction to the manager, he stated these events never happened and accused us of defamation and slander and threatened legal action. Rooms are disgusting, I woke with small bites on my shoulder. Walls are paper thin. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
Great location. Two blocks from the North train station (Brussels Nord). And 50 meters from the metro station. Close to the city center.
