Divota Apartment Hotel

Beautiful, well-renovated rooms in old buildings. Stairs are difficult with luggage. The breakfast area is hard to find, but the staff are very welcoming!

Lovely hotel/apartment in a perfect location to explore Split. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was great, good selection of food and again the staff were always so friendly. The French tourists in the breakfast room not so much. The room was ok, there were a few drawbacks - I would avoid room 203 if possible because there seems to be a cavity or something inbetween the room above (303) and subsequently you can hear absolutely every footstep, conversation, cough or toilet flush from the room above. It is extremely noisy if anyone is in the room above. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable, probably one of the worst mattresses I've ever experienced. Aside from these drawbacks it is a nice place and I would likely stay again just not in the same room.

The location is perfect, right next to the city center. The people are very friendly and helpful. Just be aware that you'll have to climb a few flights of stairs, but don't worry about your luggage; they'll carry it for you. Also, be aware that breakfast is served in a separate building, so the reception, room, and breakfast area are in different locations, but that's normal because there are many rooms within 100 meters of each other.

Everything was great. Close to the harbor and the old town.

I never leave reviews, but we had such a pleasant experience here. We previously booked a different accommodation in Split but had to switch at the last minute. The staff were so helpful, fair, and accommodating. They even upgraded us to a nicer room with a balcony for free! Breakfast was really lovely, and I enjoyed my latte. The luggage storage is extremely secure, as well. The free tea and coffee were a nice touch, and the location is ideal.

A kind gentleman helped me with an early check-in and even carried my luggage to my room. He gave me a perfect explanation of everything, complete with a map. The room was clean and perfectly equipped with everything I needed. There were plates, forks, and a wine opener in the refrigerator, and the attention to detail was evident with lighting, umbrellas, bottled water, and Nespresso coffee capsules placed throughout the room. The breakfast was delicious enough to enjoy, and the staff were friendly. I think it would be nice if the meal time started just 30 minutes earlier. If I come to Split again, I will definitely visit Dibota. 100 out of 100 💯 👍
