Andersen Boutique Hotel

My favorite hotel in Copenhagen, I stay here every time.
Rooms, location and staff is great. Breakfast is a delight. Though the noise from the street when the windows must be kept open in a few summer days is insufferable.

The Andersen is a small hotel located very close to the main train station and Tivoli Gardens. The subway is also just a 4-minute walk away. The rooms are small, but very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There's a Nespresso machine in the room, and the coffee is replenished daily upon request. A particularly noteworthy feature is the self-service bar where you can prepare all kinds of drinks. Payment is based on the honor system. Coffee, tea, and water are free all day.

Great place to stay with very easy access to the metro. Overall I would stay again for the ease of location and value. A few cons: the room was very small (barely space to open my suitcase), and the walls were very thin as the building is old (could hear everything in the hallway). These things are to be expected in older buildings though so I personally was not upset, but I’m noting it here for anyone who may be a light sleeper or need more space.
Smallish room but great staff and location. Pillows too soft but that's everywhere in northern Europe it seems.
