Gorgeous hotel with very friendly staff perfect for exploring Odense

Airbnb hosts are not legally allowed to rent rooms like this in France (energy rating, etc.). Single-glazed windows with a hook for a latch—it's incomprehensible how they can rent this to people. Then there's the bathroom drainage. The pipes lead to a drain inside the bathroom, and during showers (less than 5 minutes), the water overflows from the drain and floods the bathroom. I've never seen anything like it. Secondly, the hotel's reaction to our request to change rooms: they offered us an even worse room with the same bathroom. The only response from reception was, "You're the only ones who've said anything," and they hid behind the excuse, "It's an old hotel."

Brilliant breakfast - I appreciated an iced latte self service

Magnificent hotel ideally located in the city center of Odense. The breakfast was truly extraordinary!!

The rooms are big, location is great. I wish the hotel would allow guests to check out late say within 2 hours (1pm max) instead of charging by the hours, which sounds like low-cost airlines. I really hate the fact that out of the blue we had to buy slippers to walk in the room, no prior notice. Lastly, the hotel is under construction so the room is dusty!

Really nice place, I appreciate it, it's one of those places that still has traditions and service and remembers you when you come again and again 🙂

It was a pleasure to visit the hotel, the staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.
