LGBT+ Føroyar

LGBT+ Føroyar is the national LGBT+ association of the Faroe Islands, based in Tórshavn. It organises Faroe Pride, a parade held in the capital in late July that draws a large share of the islands' small population, and it has campaigned on legal equality, including the same-sex marriage law passed in 2016. There is no public office with set hours on file, so contact the group through its website or social media. For a visitor, Pride week is the main moment the community is visible; the islands have no gay bars.
