Experimental Marais

Everything was mediocre about this hotel.. the safe in the room was locked when I checked in, getting the light switches to work was a headache, the concept of handing in my electric keys every-time you go in out was frustrating..

Excellent location, peaceful but very close to busy areas. Exceptional staff, friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Superior room was quite dark with confusing lighting control system with illegible switch labels. Slightly cramped room but main problem was lack of desk / surfaces on which to put things, especially in the bathroom. Water leaked from shower onto bathroom floor every time. Room was clean but musty smell in 5th floor corridor throughout stay, likely lack of ventilation. Air conditioning didn't cool the room enough leading to poor sleep quality. Interior design was great but sometimes at the expense of practicality, one example was in the bathroom, the towel rail was not large enough to dry two towels so they remained damp. Another example was the room key was a big fob with a leather tassle that you had to leave at reception on the way out and collect on the way in. Cool but cumbersome. Might try again on our next trip at a cooler time of year if a larger room is available at reasonable cost to see whether that resolves some of the issues, but otherwise would perhaps try somewhere else.

Stay was incredible - we had such a special time. The reception team, in particular Savas, was amazing. The suite was top tier - exceeded every expectation. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent cocktails, incredible service, not to mention the very friendly bar staff. The place is beautiful and the cocktails are delicious.

This is my favorite hotel in Paris! It’s just got the best vibe! The music that plays in the lobby and you have the option to play in your room sets the vibe. The interior design feels brilliant. If you love fashion, style, adult orientated, cool, Instagram worthy with the best 24 hour reception while your shop and hop galleries this is the gem you’ve been looking for.

I recommend having a meal at the lounge. The desserts are especially delicious.

Good hotel near the heart of town, rooms are cosy with a bohemian feel, with a record player and mood lighting (missing an option to turn up to full brightness though which would be ideal for my wife applying makeup etc), staff at front desk were super friendly and helpful, found the lift and corridors a bit musky in smell, could do with some scented candles or similar, and unfortunately the restaurant staff must have worked previously at Fawlty towers, across a couple of breakfasts and a dinner they let themselves down in this area

Following a visit last night, we came to discover the Experimental bar and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed a fantastic selection of cocktails, all as original as they were exceptional. Emma, ​​our bartender, provided excellent advice throughout the evening with great professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. We also sampled several sharing plates, including the lobster rolls, tacos, and smash burger, all of which were delicious and perfectly executed. The atmosphere, the quality of the cocktails, the food, and the service all contributed to making this a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and give a special mention to Emma for her warm welcome, professionalism, and excellent service.
