Fabulous hotel! Can’t recommend enough!

The services reported on the site are fake. We booked a rear-facing double room (no view) on the official website 200€ for one night. The room description stated that slippers and Ortigia brand toiletries were included (advertised with three photos on room details page!); none of these were available. When we asked for slippers at reception, they told us they weren't included and that they didn't have any (absurd for a 3-star hotel not to have them!!). So it was a bit of an inconvenience to have to shower and then put our shoes on (the room was carpeted). The room was also dusty, especially the chandelier over the bed. For the price, these are not insignificant details. The only real plus is the central location.

We stayed at this hotel in March 2025 and had a great experience. When we were returning to Paris in November 2025 we decided to stay there again. When we checked in we were given room 6E. On the first night we realized that the bathroom had a huge hole in the wall that was covered with white printer paper and tape (see attached photos). We were staying 5 nights I kept asking if the manager was there and the person at the front desk kept telling me the manager was not at the hotel. Finally after waiting for the manager and not being given them on the last day I complained to the front desk. I told him there was a huge hole in the wall covered with printer paper and tape. The conversation was extremely awkward. He asked me if the hole in the wall inconvenienced me or offended me which was, to say the least, a weird response. Obviously it offended me to pay full price for a hotel room with a huge hole in the wall which they sloppily tried to cover up with paper and tape. Ive stayed at motels and hostels for $20 a night, no huge holes in the wall. I told him that for €195 a night I was expecting no holes in the wall and told him to call the manager and find out what they were going to do for me. Hours later he told me they would not charge us for the two times we had breakfast in the hotel which was $45 on a $1200 bill…for a room with a huge hole in the bathroom wall. This was a terrible response and quite frankly the hotel’s dubious three stars should be revoked. It is unfortunate because we had such a lovely experience staying there in March. If management is reading this, reach out to me and make it right because that was simply not acceptable. I thought about disputing the charge with Amex, which I may still do because it feels so wrong that they charged me full price for that. For anyone else thinking of reserving a room there…beware.

This beautiful boutique hotel was our favourite hotel amongst several during our recent Paris visit. Their warmth and hospitality (with thoughtful touches), combined with beautiful French country furnishings provide for a special stay. Highly recommend!

Charming little hotel

An excellent choice for a stay in a typical Parisian hotel: intimate, romantic, and comfortable!

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it! Room was cozy but with plenty of space for 2 people and very clean with a great view onto the street. The street below is pretty quiet, very safe and has tons to see. There was plenty of wardrobe room/corner room for our suitcases and belongings. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, only 1-2 blocks from the Seine, metro and great shopping and cafes. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

A very charming establishment, superb location in the heart of Paris in a good neighborhood. The reception and staff were perfect, efficient from 6 am. Thank you so much, I highly recommend it.
