The Mandala Hotel

Absolutely gorgeous! I’ve stayed here twice now for little “staycations” with my boyfriend. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like plenty of tea, coffee, and even hot chocolate. The concierge team really goes above and beyond, which makes the experience even more special. We’ve also dined a few times in the restaurant upstairs — the food is lovely, though the atmosphere in the bar/restaurant can feel a bit quiet, as if it’s just us and the staff. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Our favourite part of the stay is definitely the ONO Spa. It’s such a unique luxury to relax in total peace and calm while overlooking Potsdamer Straße. The chill-out room is a lovely touch, and I love the refreshing infused water. It’s always the highlight of our stay, and we’ll definitely be back for the spa soon!

Generous, quiet rooms; exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

The Mandala is a very good suite-style hotel in a strong Berlin location. The main reason to stay here is not flashy design or scene-y hotel energy, but space, quiet, comfort, and a team that seems to care about the details. After three nights, I would happily stay here again. The room (Management Suite) was the clear highlight. Spacious, well planned, and unusually easy to actually live in for a few days. The walk-in closet was an unexpected and huge plus. Being able to properly unpack instead of having clothes and bags spread around the room makes a real difference on a longer stay. The bathroom was also generous, with a proper bathtub, and the overall room quality felt high. I had requested a high floor when booking, and they put me on the top floor without any issue. They also let me check in early. At first, there was mention of a surcharge, but they ended up waiving it and had me in the room around 12:30 instead of 15:00. Small gesture, but the kind of thing you remember. The gym is functional but on the smaller end. It has some interesting equipment, including a Technogym Kinesis wall. The only problem is that there are no instructions, no QR code, and no clear guidance on how to use it properly. I managed to figure out enough, but it felt like I only used a small part of what it can probably do. When making such an investment, it feels appropriate to educate your guests on how to get value out of the equipment. The two treadmills also got busy at peak time, and I had to queue once. Not a major issue, but for a hotel at this level it is something they could improve. Another nice detail was that the minibar items I had used were comped at checkout, even though I told them what I had taken. I do not know if that was intentional or just a system thing, but it was a pleasant surprise. The only part that felt weaker is the general arrival experience. The entrance is quite discreet from the street, almost too discreet, and once inside you are immediately in front of the reception desk with several staff members there at the same time. The team was warm and professional, but the physical setup makes the first moment feel slightly abrupt. There is no real decompression zone or strong sense of arrival. A small lobby redesign would probably make a big difference. Overall, The Mandala worked very well for me. It is especially good for business travelers or anyone who values space, calm, and quiet efficiency over a busy lifestyle-hotel atmosphere. The location near Potsdamer Platz makes it easy to get around Berlin without feeling trapped in the most tourist-heavy areas. For the price point, the room quality and the small acts of hospitality make it worth it.

Minimal check-in, room service leaves something to be desired. Very clean!! Shower in the bathtub... Breakfast excellent!

CowBOY Duck visited here Without a doubt, a 5-star hotel of a very high standard. It starts with excellent service in everything that is required. Elegance, comfort and lots of smiles. The room itself was very large, immaculately clean. One of the hotels with the best soundproofing I have ever been to. It was simply amazing. Comfortable bed, you can choose the pillows, which gives a perfect sleep adjustment. Breakfast was simple and wonderful. Everything is fresh and here too the service is really excellent. Those who are also looking for a unique experience should book a place in the hotel's 2 Michelin star restaurant, definitely a delicious and very pleasant experience although as expected expensive. There is parking at the hotel for a fair fee and every time we asked, they brought the car quickly and efficiently. Great shower. From a very convenient location. By the way, art lovers, there are some works in the corridors that are definitely worth a short tour.

Located in Potsdamer Pltz, the hotel was well located for access to most areas of central Berlin. The suite was large and well appointed with amenities, kitchen area and large walk-in closet. Staff was friendly and very helpful for all of our needs and questions.
