Catastrophic service. The menu was unclear, with mushrooms only listed under allergies and then indicated by a tiny letter. I never received a replacement dish and left after a 30-minute wait. The pizza was mediocre at best. The ratings are incomprehensible!

This is a restaurant I stopped by during a day trip to Cologne. The exterior is romantic. The food was decent. It was inconvenient to drink beer because the restroom was unusable.

The food was good, but a bit more variety in the salad would have been nice (not so much leafy greens and maybe some corn as an ingredient). The price was reasonable for the location. The ambiance by the Rhine was lovely. The staff was unfriendly. The restrooms were closed. I won't be coming back.

I'll start with the positives: It was sunny. Unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing positive to report about this restaurant visit. The waiter was very assertive and insisted we could only order from him. After that, however, he was unreachable. When we finally managed to get hold of him, he just responded irritably with "I'll be right there..." – which, of course, we waited for in vain. The food was the worst frozen pizza I've ever been served – a complete tourist trap! Furthermore, they don't seem to have much of an understanding of Cologne culture: When we ordered a Kranz (a type of ring cake), the waiter hadn't the faintest idea what it was... So, we went there twice. The first and the last time.

My girlfriend had a Bolognese sauce. It was actually really good, but there was a bit too much oil. I had a Wiener Schnitzel, which I really wouldn't recommend. The meat was really dark. The fries were okay.

The food is moderate as well as the service. Not recommended if you have choices.
