Grüneburgpark (Cruising)

Grüneburgpark, the large green space in Frankfurt's Westend, has a long-standing reputation as the city's best-known outdoor gay cruising area, with the wooded paths near the Goethe monument busiest on warm evenings and after dark. It is a public park used by families and joggers by day, so discretion is essential and activity is tolerated rather than official. Germany decriminalised homosexuality decades ago and the setting is generally safe, but exercise normal night-time caution, respect other park users and be aware of your surroundings.
