Opfinger See (FKK / Ferkelwiese)

Opfinger See is a lake southwest of Freiburg, near Opfingen. It has a long-established FKK (naturist) area. Next to it is a wooded meadow known locally as the 'Ferkelwiese', which is the region's best-known gay naturist and cruising spot. It is used almost entirely in the warmer months and is busiest on sunny afternoons and early evenings. The lake is also a normal public swimming spot, so keep any activity in the wooded part and out of sight of families. Police check the area now and then. Bring water and sun protection, and don't leave bags unattended by the shore.
