We stayed for a weekend. On Saturday, the shower only dispensed scalding hot water. We went down to reception, and housekeeping came. He confirmed the problem. Then came the "suggestion" for how we could get a shower: go down to reception in our pajamas, get a key for another room, shower there, return the key, and then walk back through the entire hotel with wet hair, etc., to our room. Seriously? That's zero service for such a high room rate. At checkout, there was no interest in whether everything was okay. At breakfast, the staff didn't even say "Good morning" to us. Overall, we were very disappointed with this hotel and will not be booking it again. P.S. The shower was fixed in the afternoon.

We were there on a business trip. We deducted a point because of the lack of air conditioning. The staff was very friendly, and everything was spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant is recommendable.

Excellent hotel. We've stayed here five times already. The rooms and beds are top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly. We highly recommend it. Dogs are also allowed.

A fantastic, centrally located hotel in Kassel, housed in a former monastery. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their dog-friendliness is especially noteworthy! I've never experienced anything like it! But the overall ambiance and the food are also truly wonderful. One minor drawback is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which is certainly due to the building's historical character. We'd still love to come back!

Absolutely not recommended. We celebrated our daughter's wedding there, with an overnight stay before and after the reception. It was a hot summer, and sleeping was impossible because our room faced the courtyard, where another wedding party was already underway. Naturally, there was endless noise until about 1:30 a.m., after which the staff loudly moved all the outdoor furniture until about 3:00 a.m. Closing the windows wasn't an option, as there was no air conditioning, and the rooms were unbearably hot. But the biggest disaster was the reception itself. The hall was incredibly hot, the booked outdoor area wasn't fenced off, and there were customers among our guests. Despite having booked an all-inclusive package, we were suddenly expected to pay for the drinks we took outside. The food service was more rationed by the staff, and as the father of the bride, I didn't receive the full selection I had chosen. The worst part, however, was the lack of staff. I waited about two hours for a drink at the wedding table because the staff was, of course, almost exclusively focused on walk-up customers. One server went around collecting all the glasses, even half-full ones. When the guests returned from the dance floor, the glasses were gone. No new drinks were brought; after all, we had an all-you-can-drink package. When we went to the bar to get drinks, we had to wait until the bartender had time, as she was serving the other guests first. After the second sleepless night, the rudest ladies at reception—the most unfriendly I've ever encountered—demanded that I pay for parking in addition to the room rate. I hadn't been paying, as we had arrived by train... Never again, at least not for me...
