Seaside Park Hotel

The location is fantastic for exploring the old town. The reception was very friendly. The room was comfortably furnished and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast; we had everything we needed. The staff was very attentive and ensured that everything was always available. All in all, a great hotel.

The hotel's location is convenient if you want to get to the main train station quickly. However, it's very noisy outside. We usually sleep with the window open, but that wasn't possible here. On top of the noise, there's the fan in the room. It switches on every few minutes, regardless of whether the light is on or off, and it's so loud that it gave me a restless night. And something was beeping constantly in the middle of the night. When we came back from breakfast, it was gone, so we couldn't figure out what was causing it. My main problem: The room's design is questionable. When you walk in the door, you're in the hallway, bedroom, and bathroom all rolled into one. The sink and, most importantly, the bathtub are in the same room as the bed! And on top of all the lack of privacy, there are WINDOWS in the partition wall between the bed and the bathtub?! Who designed this?! I felt extremely uncomfortable showering in the mornings. Partly because I was worried about waking my partner by showering without a wall between us, and partly because I was worried about being watched while I showered. And what if the cleaning staff unexpectedly walks in? The first thing they'd see is me completely naked in the shower! Breakfast was expensive considering the quantity and quality, but at least it was edible.

Always a great experience when we travel to Leipzig. Located across from the main station.

I stayed there with my grandson over Pentecost weekend... A lovely hotel, centrally located... The room was fantastic!!! Very clean... The staff were very friendly and personable... The breakfast was really pleasant... I would love to come back again...
