Esperia City Hotel

Stayed for 2 weeks in June, great hotel. Extensive breakfast. Clean rooms every day. Good service. Upon arrival, there was a problem with the room due to its height; it was resolved immediately. Hotel location perfect for the beach and the city. Suitable for people with respiratory issues. The city is quite densely populated with a lot of exhaust fumes and odors. A face mask was the solution in crowded areas.

Breakfast was great, with generous opening hours (7:00-10:30). You choose a table and take the plates from there to collect your breakfast. Toaster available, chocolate rolls, various cakes and cookies, salad bar, fruit bar, granola—lots of choice! Only the coffee was mediocre. 😉 The beds were good, spacious wardrobe, plenty of mirrors. We had a separate sink; we had soap in the shower and at the sink. There was a translucent bathroom door, which meant your fellow guest would wake up if they made a late trip to the toilet. Only one side of the bed had a power outlet, which was inconvenient. Clean towels every day, friendly staff. We received pleasant assistance at the reception. The pool was modest compared to the hotel. The pool and breakfast area are next to each other, so you have eye contact with the people in the pool while you eat your sandwich. Location great, 15 min to Rhodes Old Town.

This year, we chose to stay at the Esperia City Hotel again, for two weeks. We found the entire staff to be courteous, kind, and helpful. The breakfast service was always impeccable: clean, varied, and of excellent quality. When we arrived in our room, we found a much-appreciated welcome gift: a bottle of wine and fresh fruit. The room was in a great location, well-ventilated, and quiet, with a large balcony. However, this year, compared to last year, the bathroom was very small, with an uncomfortable shower. Finally, the central location of the Esperia City Hotel made our stay in Rhodes pleasant.

We enjoyed our 2-week holiday on Rhodes here. We are happy with the choice we made for Esperia; it is a very nice hotel in a good location. The room wasn't too big, but it was clean (the friendly cleaning ladies ensured this every day), with good beds and a good shower... ultimately, you just sleep there! The breakfast was very extensive, with fresh products every day, and was well replenished. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. On the last day, we had an evening flight; we were still able to use the pool, and they even had a room where we could shower—great service! We will definitely be back here for our next holiday to Rhodes🌞

This was our first time in Rhodes, and we are so glad we chose this wonderful hotel. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic. The quality of the hotel exceeded our expectations considering the price we paid. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you again in September.

I stayed four nights at the Hotel Esperia and was quite disappointed. I had seen good reviews, but it didn't live up to expectations. The rooms were small, and the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was very limited; it was the same thing every day with very little choice. The hotel is well located, not far from the beach, shops, and the town center. But apart from its location, I wouldn't recommend it.
