I’m usually the last person to leave a review, but since I work in hospitality myself, this experience surprised me. As a customer, I was served almost completely non-verbally — the bartender didn’t say a single word to me. I even tried to start a friendly conversation, but only received a non-verbal response. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but in a customer-facing role like bartending, communication with guests is really important. Really shame young generation

22 bar was a great find on our stay in Reykjavik. We went there a number of times. It's not too big and there are plenty of seats. It was cosy in the col winter evening. The service was great. There is also quite a long "happy hour"

Visited a couple of times during the first week of January. It was always during happy hour but we were disappointed by the options - 3 beers on tap and 1 type of white wine. For the evening happy hour they only offered Aperol/Limoncello spritz and Mule cocktails which was not as advertised on their menus. Happy hour cocktails were only 2-400 ISK cheaper than standard prices. The staff seemed very indifferent and neglected to keep music playing so oftentimes we were left in silence which was quite awkward.

Friendly welcome, quick service, reasonably priced - well worth a visit. Happy hour a boon!

very good location right in town! Very friendly staff and good drinks/ selection :)

I am alcohol intolerant. I ordered the flower spritz from the mocktail menu and after drinking a third of my glass I started feeling very ill. When my partner asked the bartender if they put alcohol in my drink they said yes. When he clarified that there should have not been any alcohol in my drink they responded “oh yeah”… total fail on their part I was so ill I had to be carried home after only a third of my drink. This place needs to make sure they know what’s on their own menu.

1.200 ISK beer and wine happy hour. Very cute place with fun music. Friendly staff and great location.
