IGOR Libreria - Commissionaria Internazionale

IGOR Libreria is a queer bookshop in Bologna's centro storico, on Via Santa Croce near Porta San Felice. It is one of the few dedicated LGBTQ+ bookstores left in Italy. It stocks queer fiction, essays, comics and some English-language titles, and hosts book presentations and small community gatherings. The premises are shared with other small projects, so it feels more like a neighbourhood space than a shop. This is a daytime cultural stop rather than nightlife. Bologna is one of Italy's most queer-friendly cities, and Cassero, the city's main LGBTQ+ centre, is not far away for evening events. Opening hours are short and can change, so check before walking over.
