Windsor Hotel

The room for three people was tiny. They gave us a room for two and added an extra bed. The shower was disgusting; it didn't have a screen, water leaked everywhere, and it was moldy. There was even a snot stuck to the bathroom wall when we arrived. To top it all off, the room service was useless: they didn't clean our room even once. As if that weren't enough, they didn't provide toilet paper or shower gel and told us to buy it ourselves. I mean, if I pay for a seven-day stay in a hotel, the price should include all the toilet paper I might need. I can't understand how they have a license to house people in this place.

In reality, it's what's in the photo, but photos are very deceiving... poor service for a 4-star hotel. The comfort of the rooms was very poor, the cleaning was very bad. After being sent to a dirty room, I went with the employee to look for a clean one... I stayed in one that seemed clean, but the bed had remnants of dead skin, hair, etc. The decoration was very poor, old furniture, damaged walls, sinks with metal parts, the room was spacious but ugly... it was already disappointing in Brazil and now in Malta it was worse... I don't recommend it for those who need the bare minimum to be comfortable... breakfast is outside the hotel and is quite poor... but you won't go hungry.

For the price I paid it was incredible. Prime location, beautiful balcony, ac, and a rooftop pool. However there were some cleanliness issues. One night when I came back to my room there was a cockroach running around. Now I only saw the one so maybe it was a one off but still worth noting. Also the kettle has clearly not been cleaned in a long time. I looked inside it and there was this brown sludge around the sides and old water in the bottom. The shower also had dirt in the bottom like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last person used it

This hotel is advertised as 4-star, but the reality is very disappointing. It feels like stepping back into the 1920s: a musty smell, outdated rooms, and antiquated furniture. Nothing works properly: the telephone is out of order, the television is unusable with cables trailing everywhere. Only the lights work. To top it all off, part of the false ceiling behind the reception area collapsed during our stay, which is frankly worrying and potentially dangerous. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location.

We were unable to stay at the hotel. We had made and fully paid for the reservation back in January, but when we went to reception in May, they told us it was canceled due to overbooking. They didn't offer any alternative accommodation and told us to sort things out with the agency we booked through. Overall, very poor service. However, the receptionist was kind and helped us find another hotel.

The cleaning was average 😶 But the location was perfect 👌 It's exactly what I was looking for: 2 minutes from the sea, a bed, and a bathroom. Bring a power strip for chargers 😅 Breakfast was average and you're stuck inside —> breakfast with a sea view was great 👌

It was a 4-star hotel, and yet the next morning, the bed was unmade, there were 3 stains on the back of the duvet, we have eyes to see, and the duvet had reached the end of its lifespan, there was a cleaning service in the morning, but they didn't change the duvet.

The worst of the worst hotels, better in a tent on the street than here

Honestly, judging by the reviews we expected the worst, turns out it's actually quite decent. Yep some mold in the bathroom but the building is old and it doesn't mean it's dirty. Room was decent, sheets were clean and cleaning staff visited every day. Reception staff is also amazing they helped with everything we asked for. Breakfast is the only disappointing thing, there is not much to pick from, and a worker stands where eggs and sausages are and doesn't let you take by yourself instead he puts on your plate and you need to ask for more bc he gives you one sausage and a scoop of eggs. It's not worth 8€. Other than that everything was great. Outside pool was amazing, lots of sunbeds It's definitely not a 4 star hotel, but it's budget friendly, it's a great location and you get what you pay for. Note in Malta they use 3 way outlets so if you are from other parts of Europe you can buy an adapter in the shop across the street

SHAMEFUL, left on the street ★☆ CUSTOMER ABANDONMENT - PAID RESERVATION NOT HONORABLE Date of experience: May 28, 2026 Agoda booking no. 655493991 - Windsor Hotel Sliema Room: Double/Twin Room for 2 adults, registered to Giusy Reservation PAID AND CONFIRMED. I arrived late, but I had notified the hotel by email as requested. At the front desk, they told me: "No rooms available." No alternatives, no call to Agoda, no assistance. Result: 2 HOURS ON THE STREET late at night, alone with my bags. I had to spend €99 out of my own pocket on Booking.com for another hotel. You pay in advance, the reservation is "Confirmed," and you find yourself homeless. This isn't a disservice; it's a total lack of respect and hospitality. Agoda sells rooms that the hotel doesn't guarantee. When you need 24-hour support, it's nonexistent. I'm requesting a full refund of the reservation + €99 damages for alternative accommodations. I've already filed a complaint with Agoda and the authorities. I totally advise against the Windsor Hotel. There are hotels in Sliema that know what it takes to welcome a guest.

I stayed for 3 nights. The staff were helpful but unhelpful: every request was met with a pointless smile (nothing was done to fix things). The room was overall dirty and dark. The following were broken: - the closet drawers - the window (repaired with a piece of toilet paper) - the bathroom door Missing: - refrigerator and teapot (which were advertised as being available in their information sheet) - they provided one small towel per person for 4 days The beds were camp beds with wooden planks instead of baseboards. Breakfast was in a dark and dirty room; tables were practically empty of food and no choice. The only positives were the location and the rooftop pool (we stayed there rather than go to our room).

Terrible, awful. We arrived and there were sheets on the floor between the desk and the wardrobe. I warned them and it was no use, they remained there until the last day. Sheets that were too small and torn. The sun comes in through the window as soon as it rises, because the curtain isn't blackout, terrible. Only There was only one towel for 2 people, we had to ask for more. Broken things in the bathtub and sink.
