We participated in the buffet. It was well catered for and very tasty. The drinks were well taken care of by very friendly staff.

This was one of the worst experiences. The staff were kind but the old man who we think owns this place really needs settle down back on earth, rude and no service mind at all. He was arrogant and ignorant. The condition of the cabin was not liveable. Scorching hot and the old man couldn’t even provide something to help the cabin cool down. If you decide to come here when it’s warmer, don’t. You’ll basically pay to dig your own grave. WORST PLACE OF ALL TIME.

Delicious food

A bit smaller than expected and also a bit less impressive in terms of cleanliness. As if the season hasn't started yet and the proper cleaning still needs to be done. Booked the log cabin plus. Over 90 euros, so I expect a bit more. Check-in among the elderly sitting having high tea. Check-out is only between 10 and 11. If you do that earlier, your 50 euro deposit (hopefully) gets refunded. You get an A4 sheet to provide your IBAN, which they then come across in the cottage... Seems like a system prone to errors. It is wonderfully quiet in the morning, though, and the surrounding area is great for walking and cycling.

Had a good meal

Everything you need, no luxury, rather rustic and down-to-earth, 6 km from Groningen, easily accessible by bicycle. Incidentally, there's a beautiful cycle path.

Had a delicious meal in a lovely spot in the conservatory. Friendly service. Worth repeating.

Fine for an overnight stay. Very cozy, but you have everything you need. The staff is very friendly.
