Dumpling House

We absolutely love The Dumpling House and return again and again… as much for the wonderful people as for the incredible food! Our favorites are the Jhol and Sweet Chilli Dumplings and the Keema Noodles, although truly, everything we’ve tried has been delicious. It is always such a pleasure to see Samuel, Nabina and Biki, whose warmth and hospitality are every bit as special as the authentic Nepalese cuisine they so proudly serve. We bring nearly all of our visiting friends and family to The Dumpling House, and it consistently becomes a highlight of their time in Lagos. Most recently, our 16-year-old friend loved the dumplings so much that she wanted them every single day of her visit! Her final stop before leaving Lagos was to pick up a takeaway picnic of dumplings for the drive to Lisbon… perhaps the best endorsement of all! The Dumpling House is one of those special places that combines delicious food, genuine hospitality, and people you are always happy to see. If you’re visiting Lagos, please put it high on your list and don’t be surprised if one visit isn’t enough!

The food was perfection, the staff was so kind, helpful and sweet! 🫶🏼 we ordered food several times, and it was perfect every time!

Today we had the most amazing lunch in Dumplings House in Lagos. The Spicy Chicken Momos were outstanding. Fresh and delicious. The Chicken Chow Mein was also fantastic service with great waiter service. We will definitely be back

A culinary gem tucked away in a side street behind the Adega Da Marina. This restaurant will now be on our list of must visits in Lagos. The only Nepalese food we have sampled before is curry. So, the fried dumplings, chow mein, and thukpa ( noodle soup and dumplings) were a pleasant surprise. We had fried prawn dumplings as a starter, they came with 2 sauces and were delicious. Next time, we will have the sweet chilli dumplings. The chow mein was completely different to a Chinese chow mein and so much better, one of the tastiest meals I have ever had. The server was delightful and patiently explained the menu to us. My wife's housecred wine was surprisingly good. We will return, probably on this trip.

I came here with my 10 year old daughter. The food was just amazing but the service and the kind staff just made the meal even better.

we took 5 types of dumplings, one better than the other!!!!! Exceptional Service, their cute despite it was closing time they quietly served us and left all the time for dinner.

We loved the Dumpling House and definitely plan to return all being well. The dumplings were amazing as all the reviews have suggested … but … the tempura vegetables were FANTASTIC!! Also the service was lovely and patient and keen to explain and help “dumpling novices” find their way. Very pleased this evening after our dumpling adventure and really hope to be back for more very soon!!
