Shalimar Indian Restaurant

My favourite Indian restaurant! The staff is absolutely lovely! Especially the older lady is very sweet. They treated me well, even though I could only speak english. The location is super - very close to the lively centre of the town, but not too busy. During my short trip to Lagos, I visited this place twice. I got the butter chicken with naan and it was so tasty I just had to go back and eat it again! The food was freshly served and hot. You could also choose the spice level. If I ever get the chance to visit Lagos again, I will definitely visit.

We came back after a year, from Germany, and this is truly the best Indian food we have ever eaten. The butter chicken is really an 11/10, we can only recommend it.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Shalimar! We had the butter chicken and another chicken dish with their special sauce. The chicken was super tender and the sauces were delicious. The portions were generous, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a lovely time sitting outside. Great value for money as well. Definitely recommend!
