Enjoying top-notch dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Very high quality. Absolutely the best we have eaten here. You don't come across a gem like this very often. That is a holiday, that is pure enjoyment! Dishes are served to be shared, which ensures that no one regrets ordering the wrong thing.

We went to Provavel for a dinner as a couple, and the experience was truly excellent. The restaurant offers a seasonal menu that changes frequently, with some iconic dishes always present, and this attention to seasonality is clearly evident in the quality of the ingredients and the meticulous attention to detail. We tried several dishes, and they all won us over. A special mention goes to the prawns with smoked carabinero sauce: a truly extraordinary dish, intense, balanced, and rich in flavor. The beef with Padrón peppers was also excellent, perfectly cooked, and the mackerel with cherry tomatoes was fresh and very well balanced. Each dish was prepared with technique, attention, and a distinct personality. Miguel, who looked after us throughout the dinner, was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave us excellent advice both on the choice of dishes and the wine pairings. The wine list is also very interesting, with a nice selection of Portuguese wines, especially from the Douro. It's definitely a restaurant I would recommend to anyone visiting Porto. If I really had to suggest a small improvement, I'd make the space even more intimate by slightly lowering the overall lighting and using some soft lights directly on the tables. The quality of the cuisine deserves an even more intimate and romantic atmosphere, which in my opinion would further elevate the restaurant.

Such a cozy place with a lovely atmosphere! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We tried their local sparkling wine, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was excellent, every dish we ordered was amazing, and everything arrived surprisingly quickly. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, as it can get quite busy. Highly recommended!

It's impossible to say the food is bad; they work with good products and have good dishes, especially the squid, the Algarve prawns, and the rice pudding. However, the portions are far too small. The restaurant is not a fine dining establishment with a fixed-price tasting menu. For two people, we ordered four main courses and two desserts, as suggested to ensure we would be satisfied. The bill came to over €100. We didn't find the price of each dish appropriate to the Portuguese reality; it's clearly priced only for tourists compared to the reality of Porto, with the added problem of the size of each portion, which, as the employee indicated, was meant to be shared. It leaves a bittersweet taste considering the restaurant's potential and the quality of some of the dishes we tried. We will not repeat the experience if they choose to continue down this path. This is your 5 star. All other places rated 4.9 or higher arn't like this.. this is fine daining but in a commoded area. Just go here ok?! Its worth a try

Totally incredible. We’ve came here a day after being in a Michelin starred restaurant and guess what, Provavel completely exceeded them, and any expectations we might’ve had ever had if it comes to cruisine. I bet that they’ll be awarded a Star, and each other culinary award that’s out there, because this place is at completely another level.

Ten out of ten. This is an excellent choice for dinner. The location and atmosphere are perfect. They serve modern Portuguese cuisine in a shared-plate format, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Miguel, explained every dish so professionally that it felt as if he had cooked them himself. The place is chic, with a great crowd and a lively atmosphere. Their drink selection is also excellent. I happened to get one of the best seats in the house, with a beautiful view. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Porto.

If you’re a foodie, Provável deserves a spot at the top of your Porto list. We came with family and left already planning our return. Plenary of unique seasonal dishes warmest service, and that rare feeling of a place that genuinely loves what it does. Don’t miss it
