Top view and location. Hot room, even with air conditioning, old furnishings, windowless and smelly bathroom. Poor breakfast. 4 stars?

We came for lunch. Small portions and little variety. Nonexistent service. It seemed like we were bothering them while they were having their coffee, their glass of water, or ordering bottled water at the bar. Restaurant to avoid.

The rooms are small but perfectly formed. Located right behind the city gate, "Porta della Fratta," at the entrance to the old town, you're right in the heart of it all – but don't worry: it gets quiet in the evening, as most tourists seem to head back to the coastal towns for the night. Even from the parking lot next door, you have a breathtaking view from "Monte Titano" across the rolling green hills. The food in the hotel's restaurant is not only delicious but also offers a beautiful view, and the portions are plentiful. Breakfast was a bit too sweet for our typically German palates: there were many (very sweet) cakes, muesli, etc. – we mostly ate fruit in the mornings.

A hidden gem in the core part of San Marino. Service is fantastic, breakfast is great, my room was small, but had everything that needed and also crystal clean. Would definitely stay again!

A very central hotel in the upper part of San Marino. It has two convenient parking garages just steps away. Refined interiors, comfortable and well-maintained rooms. Very nice building, with a lovely on-site restaurant. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is more than satisfactory. Excellent choice, very central and convenient.

Very basic European hotel: small room, limited space for suitcase, weak a/c, far from modern, etc. But location and dining options convenient.

A hotel with impressive architecture and a long history that is palpable in every aspect of the building. Its historical character alone makes a stay here truly special. Another highlight is the excellent restaurant, which is directly affiliated with the hotel and perfectly complements the overall experience. The location couldn't be better. Situated right at the entrance to the old town, it's ideal for exploring the city on foot. Parking is also available, which is a major plus. The staff is friendly, but somewhat reserved and could be a bit more proactive and helpful in certain situations. The rooms are rather small, and the hotel is certainly not among the budget-friendly options. The biggest drawback is the breakfast. There is significant room for improvement here. The selection is limited, and the quality of the food offered unfortunately doesn't live up to the hotel's otherwise high standards. Especially in a country like Italy, we would have expected considerably more. Nevertheless, the positive impressions clearly outweigh the negatives. The unique ambiance, the superb location, and the excellent restaurant make this hotel a definite recommendation. We would gladly return.
